Parking stands removed

LAKKI MARWAT: The district administration has removed illegal parking stands and encroachments from the bazaars in the Domeltown of Bannu district on Tuesday.

An official said that after receiving complaints from local residents, Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Fahim tasked Additional Assistant Commissioner Nawab Khan Bangash to launch action against illegal encroachments and parking stands.

“Traders and the general public complained that the parking stands and encroachments caused traffic problems and inconvenience,” he added.

The official said that the administration officials along with police personnel inspected bazaars and commercial areas in Domel town and removed illegal auto rickshaw parking stands and encroachments from the busy bazaars.
