TOBA TEK SINGH: A newlywed couple died allegedly by suicide by jumping before a running train near the Gatti Railway Station in Faisalabad on Tuesday.
Sajid Ali of Chak Bhaiwala, a power-loom factory worker, had demanded from his elder brother, Muhammad Fahad, money to go to Naran Kaghan for honeymoon but his brother asked him to wait for a couple of days and he would arrange the money.
The deceased warned his brother if he did not get money, he and his wife would commit suicide. Fahad could not arrange the money, and Sajid and his wife, Fauzia Bibi, allegedly jumped before a running train and died on impact.
