Hyderabad win basketball final

HYDERABAD, May 8: The Hyderabad district team clinched basketball final of Sindh Sports Board Inter-districts Regional Games 2006 by defeating Thatta 49-38 at Latifabad Board's Stadium on Sunday.

Players from both the teams made several moves to win the match.

Shoaib Ahmed from the winning side netted 16 baskets while Farhan scored 14.

Khuda Bux and Shahid Wahid scored 12 and nine baskets for the losers.—APP
