ISLAMABAD: Moham­mad Ammad and Anas Ali will contest the final of the inaugural Jansher Khan Squash Championship, following their semi-final wins on Sunday here at the Mushaf Squash Complex.

Ammad defeated Saeed Abdul 10-12, 11-8, 11-3, 11-6 in 46 minutes, while Anas Ali edged out Abdullah Nawaz 12-10, 9-11, 9-11, 11-6, 11-4 in a 63-minute match.

The final is scheduled for Monday. The championship, carrying a $1,000 prize purse, is part of the Pakistan Squash Feder­ation’s initiative to support low-ranking Pakistani players.
