PM Shehbaz has thanked and paid tribute to the military leadership on the country’s “historic success” in the recent operation against India.

“On this historic achievement, I pay tribute to Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza, COAS Gen Asim Munir, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar, Navy Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, every soldier and every officer,” the PM said.

He especially extended gratitude to Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir for his “brave leadership” on behalf of himself and the entire nation and also paid tribute to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar and his pilots for “defending the skies with pride”.
