Universal drops Jurassic World Rebirth featurette

Universal has released Jurassic World Rebirth — A Classic Jurassic Park Featurette, offering behind-the-scenes footage and a first look at the dino-packed adventure hitting theatres July 2.

Starring Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Mahershala Ali and Rupert Friend, the film is a survival story set five years after Jurassic World Dominion. The team, led by an all-star cast, heads to the original park’s research site to recover vital DNA, now overrun by deadly dinosaurs.

Directed by Gareth Edwards and written by Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp, the film blends biting humour with even more biting creatures.

Live-action Toys ‘R’ Us Movie coming soon

A live-action Toys ‘R’ Us movie is in development from Story Kitchen, the production company behind Sonic the Hedgehog, in collaboration with Toys”R”Us Studios.

Described as a modern, fast-paced adventure in the spirit of Night at the Museum, Big and Back to the Future, the film aims to capture the nostalgia, wonder and creativity the brand has symbolised for over 70 years. Producers Dmitri M. Johnson and Mike Goldberg, both ’80s kids, say the movie will reflect the magic of growing up with Toys ‘R’ Us. Casting and director discussions are underway.

This is Toys ‘R’ Us’ first film, following the brand’s recent Cannes Lions short about its founder Charles Lazarus, which was the first to use OpenAI’s Sora video tool.
