ISLAMABAD: Keeping in view the escalating tension between Pakistan and India, some social safety nets held an emergency meeting to plan anticipatory measures and provide services during the crisis.

Pakistan Baitul Mal and Pakistan Sweet Home decided to devise an inclusive plan for providing immediate relief, preferably food, shelter, and blood, in coordination with the relevant institutions.

Managing Director, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM), Senator Shaheen Khalid Butt chaired the meeting and Patron-in-Chief Pakistan Sweet Home Zamurrad Khan (H.I) and senior officials also attended the meeting to plan the anticipatory measures during the crisis.

On the occasion, Zamurrad Khan focused on comprehensively reviewing preparedness and formulating strategies to deal with any potential emergencies.

He also admired the PBM’s pro-active role in carrying out the various national social welfare missions.

Senator Khalid, while expressing solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces, communicated his passion for taking all the rehabilitative and supportive measures during the possible crisis.
