KARACHI: A Saudi immigration team on Sunday arrived in the country to process Pakistani Haj pilgrims at Jinnah International Airport and Islamabad International Airport under the Road-to-Makkah initiative.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Airports Authority here, the Saudi immigration team will conduct immigration clearance for Haj pilgrims at eight dedicated counters at Jinnah International Airport, starting April 29 when the first Haj flight departs from Karachi.

“This initiative will streamline the pilgrims’ entry process into Saudi Arabia by completing immigration formalities before departure from Pakistan,” it added.

Earlier, a 45-member Saudi immigration delegation had arrived in Pakistan and was received at Islamabad International Airport.
