LAHORE: India edged past Pakistan 2-1 in a match of the Asia Cup Women’s Baseball in Thailand, according to the results released by the Pakistan Federation Baseball on Saturday.
The match, which was the very first in baseball between the two countries, proved a close encounter as both the teams were level at 1-1 till the end of regular seven innings.
To decide the result, two extra innings were played in which India scored one to win.
