CM’s surprise visit to Gujranwala region

GUJRAT: During a surprise visit to Gujranwala on Friday, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz toured the inner areas of the city, interacted with people and asked them about their issues.

During the visit, she also visited Kharadan Bazaar, Gondlanwala Bazaar, Deighi Bazaar, Chowk Farooq Azam, and other marketplaces.

She interacted with shopkeepers and other people who were pleasantly surprised to see the CM among them.

The CM inquired from the people about cleanliness and sanitation in the city, reviewed road construction work, traffic control, and operation against encroachments.

Earlier, in Sambrial tehsil of Sialkot, she went to the residence of late MPA Chaudhry Arshad Javed Warraich, who died recently and offered condolences to his daughters Hina Arshad Warraich and Zeena Mustafa Warraich, and offered Fateha for the departed soul.

Senior Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb, MPA Manshaullah Butt and Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman were also present. She also visited Sambrial, Wazirabad, Sialkot, Ghakhar Mandi.
