QUETTA: One person was injured in a hand grenade attack on a police station in the Kachi Baig area, located on the outskirts of Quetta late on Sunday night.

Police said that an unidentified motorcyclist hurled a grenade at the Kachi Baig police station, which exploded near the gate. A passer-by was injured in the blast and was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment.

The explosion damaged the police station’s main gate and shattered windowpanes, but no injuries were reported among the police personnel stationed inside.
