KARACHI: A minor boy was ran over and killed by a water tanker in Baldia Town on Saturday, police and rescue services officials said.

Area SHO Imran Saad said that four-year-old Mohammed Affan was playing outside his home in Abidabad near Rana Ground when a water tanker hit him. He died on the spot.

The driver responsible for the fatal accident left his vehicle and managed to escape.
