ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has officially notified four companies to facilitate the legal registration of retailers under its Digital Invoice System, according to a circular issued on Friday.

The announcement, made through Sales Tax Circular No. 1 of 2025, directs all retailers and businesses required to issue digital invoices to approach one of the approved licensed integrators for system integration.

The FBR has named the following firms as licensed integrators: Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL), Haball (Pvt) Ltd, EY (Pvt) Ltd, and WebDNAworks (Pvt) Ltd. Among them, PRAL will provide integration services free of charge.

The circular said the registered persons for whom it is mandatory to issue digital invoices are required to integrate their hardware and software with the FBR’s computerised system in the first place through a licensed integrator.

It was further directed that all the registered persons required to integrate with the FBR’s digital invoicing system are advised to visit the digital invoicing portal, select the licensed integrator of their choice, and initiate the integration process.

The integrators are advised to visit the digital invoicing portal and adapt a highly responsive and efficient mechanism to respond to the integration applications.
