ISLAMABAD: Four Pa­k­­i­stan players reached the finals of the ITF Pakistan Zainab Ali Naqvi Memorial World Juniors Tennis Championship first leg here at the PTF Tennis Complex on Friday.

Abubakar Talha and Nadir Mirza won their res­p­e­ctive boys’ singles semi-finals.

Abubakar beat Takaya Ishi of Japan 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 in the semi-final while Nadir defeated Singapore’s Luke Jie Xi Ho 6-3,7-6(9) in the other last-four match.

In the doubles final to be played on Saturday, Nadir Mirza and Mikaeel Ali Baig face Abubakar and Luke Jie Xi Ho of Singapore.

Saudi Arabia’s Haniya Am­na Minhas outclassed Al­i­ssa Korolyova of Kaza­k­h­s­tan 6-1,6-1 in the girls’ singles decider.
