SUKKUR: One suspect was arrested on Friday after a kidnapping and rape case was registered against two persons at the New Faujdari police station of Shikarpur district.
The case was lodged by a watchman who complained that the two suspects, whom he named in the FIR, had kidnapped his 10-year-old daughter from outside his home. A search was mounted and finally she was found kept in the house of one of the two suspects, he added.
The police arrested the man from whose home the girl was allegedly recovered.
A kidnap and rape case was registered against both the nominated suspects.
