BWMC: The Bahawalpur Waste Management Company (BWMC) has added new machinery to its existing fleet to what the company’s CEO Naeem Akhtar termed making the CM’s Suthra Punjab campaign a complete success.

According to the CEO, the new machinery included 700 small containers, 200 handcarts, 34 loader rickshaws and 25 big containers which would be used in the city’s 21 union councils to collect waste and garbage.

The new machinery was displayed at craft bazaar premises, where Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Malik Zaheer Iqbal Channar inaugurated it saying that PML-N and its leaders always attached top priority to the people’s welfare.

He expressed the hope that with the inclusion of this new machinery in the BWMC’s existing fleet, the standard of sanitation and cleanliness in city UCs would improve to the satisfaction of the local residents.
