Kolwa Gandachi primary school in dismal condition

I am writing to bring your attention to the critical challenges faced by the primary school in Kolwa Gandachi, Awaran, Balochistan. The school lacks essential facilities, including clean drinking water, functional toilets and sufficient classrooms, making it difficult for students to study in a safe and healthy environment.

The school also faces a severe shortage of qualified teachers. The existing staff is overburdened. As a result, the quality of education is suffering.

Education is a fundamental right, and every child should have access to a safe and well-equipped learning environment. It is my request to the concerned authorities to take immediate action to address these issues and ensure a better future for the students of Kolwa Gandachi.

Echoes of the cosmos

This is with reference to the cover story “Echoes of cosmos” by Asif Ali (YW, January 11). It was indeed a beautiful, informative and educational article. The writer provided important insights into how some celestial bodies produce sounds.

The explanation was simple and easy to understand, making a complex topic both engaging and interesting. The article not only sparked curiosity, but also deepened my interest in space and the universe. The writer did a fantastic job and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

The cover story “Echoes of the cosmos” by Asif Ali offered a fascinating insight into the hidden world of cosmic sounds, revealing how electromagnetic waves and vibrations from celestial bodies are transformed into audible frequencies.

The article shed light on the universe’s silent, yet active nature, and sparked curiosity and appreciation for the mysteries beyond our world. A truly compelling read for anyone intrigued by astronomy and the marvels of modern science.

The hands that clean our world

This is with reference to the story “The hands that clean our world” by Aiman Saleem (YW, December 14). The story highlighted the essential role garbage collectors play in keeping our surroundings clean and healthy, emphasising the dignity of labour and the need to respect all professions.

The story reminded readers to value the often-overlooked contributions of these workers.
