SANGHAR, Feb 5: An officer of the law enforcement agency (LEA) beat a watchman of the buildings department rest house the other day.

Gul Mohammad Brohi who came along with other employees to the local press club with bandages on both his hands and black and blue torture marks on his back and other parts of the body told newsmen that he was a night duty watchman but LEA officer Abid Ali Shah ordered him to remain present also at day time.

Brohi said that last night the officer dragged him to open ground and started beating him mercilessly.

The employees of the buildings department went to the police station to lodge an FIR but the police did not lodge it.
