Heavy smoke is billowing from the Jenin refugee camp in the occupied West Bank after Israeli forces set fire to a building in the area, Al Jazeera reports according to Al Quds Today.

The incident comes as Israel’s large-scale military operation, launched in Jenin on January 21, continues into a seventh week.

Israeli forces have killed at least 55 Palestinians in Jenin and the nearby Tulkarem and Tubas governorates since the offensive began, destroyed dozens of homes and forcibly displaced more than 40,000 people.
