OKARA: A woman with her friend allegedly poisoned her husband, leading to his death.

According to the first information report (FIR), Aslam lived with his wife Yasmin and other family members at Bonga Awan near Rizvi Chowk on Dipalpur-Hujra Road.

Aslam had repeatedly warned his wife against her alleged affair with local resident Ahmad but to no avail.

As per the FIR, Yasmin and Ahmad administered an intoxicating substance to Aslam. As he fell unconscious, Aslam’s son Usman informed the family. The complainant rushed to his stepbrother’s house and took him to Dipalpur THQ Hospital, but he died on the way.

Hujra Shah Muqeem police registered a case against Yasmin and Ahmad under sections 302 and 34 of the Pakistan Penal Code.
