One dies, five hurt in two accidents

OKARA: A man was killed while five others, including four members of a family, suffered injuries in two road accidents here on Saturday.

The first incident occurred on Dipalpur-Kasur Road near Adda Malik Shah, where two motorcycles had a head-on collision. As a result, four people Zikra Bibi, her son Tayyab, and two daughters, Nabeela and Jamia sustained multiple injuries.

Rescue 1122 provided first aid at the scene before shifting them to a local hospital for further treatment.

In another accident near Satgrah Mor on Okara-Faisalabad Road, a wagon struck a motorcycle carrying two young men, Tayyab Ali and Awais Ali. Both suffered serious injuries and were rushed to DHQ City Hospital by Rescue 1122.

Awais Ali succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
