A spokesman for the City Traffic Police Murree issued the advisory on Monday night, in which people were asked to avoid traveling at night during snowfall. It further advised people to travel in a fully equipped four-wheel drive vehicle with a full fuel tank.

The advisory said that a chain should be tied around tyres in case the vehicle slipped during snowfall.

The spokesperson further said that in case travelers used heater of the vehicle due to the cold weather, windows should be left slightly open.

He said while using a heater in a vehicle and in case the silencer gets blocked with snow, carbon monoxide gas is produced which is harmful to health.
