KARACHI, April 25: The City Nazim, Syed Mustafa Kamal, has directed officials of the KWSB to improve the water distribution system and make it more judicious

He also directed taking steps to ensure the presence of engineers responsible for water distribution.

He issued the directives in a meeting with the water board’s MD at his office on Monday.

He noted that water supply had suffered shortage due to decline in water level at the Hub Dam, but the shortage could be met to some extent through a judicious water distribution system.

The nazim called for initiation of steps for undertaking water and sewerage improvement works for which every town had been given Rs50 million.—APP
