Afghan deported to Oman

GUJRAT: FIA’s immigration authorities on Saturday deported an Afghan national and detained a passenger arriving from Mauritania, at the Sialkot airport.

An official source said during immigration clearance Abdur Rahman Shamsur Rahman having Afghan passport arrived from Oman and presented his passport for immigration.

Upon scrutiny of e-visa verification his visa type was tourist and his entry port was Torkham Land Route Border. He was deported back to Oman.Meanwhile, Ahmad Raza of Gujranwala arrived from Mauritania. He had departed from the Karachi airport to Senegal on a visit visa.

On interrogation, he disclosed that he dealt with agents Haji Riasat Bajwa of Gujranwala and Muhammad Afzal Goraya of Sialkot to get Italy visa for Rs 4 million. But the agents sent him to Senegal and then to Mauritania and also extorted Rs 3.2 million from him.

Raza sent to the anti-human trafficking cell in Gujranwala for further action.
