SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: Two security personnel were martyred and three militants killed in an attack on a check post in Sararogha tehsil of Upper South Waziristan district.
According to sources, a group of militants launched an assault on the Janta Raghazai check post on Tuesday night, sparking an exchange of gunfire with security forces. As a result, two security personnel were martyred and five others injured. In the retaliatory action, three militants were killed.
No official statement has been issued regarding the incident by Inter-Services Public Relations, the military’s media wing.
