NAROWAL: Three people were injured when an oil tanker caught fire during welding at a workshop in Sheikhupura.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesperson, a call was received from the Qasr Sultan Bypass and the caller said an oil tanker had suddenly caught fire during welding.

The firefighters and rescue ambulances reached the spot as soon as the call was received and by then the fire of the oil tanker had also engulfed the truck parked nearby. The firefighters controlled the fire on both vehicles.

Babar Ali (34), Muhammad Alam (35) and Muhammad Ramadan (25) were seriously injured in the incident. He said the rescue medical team shifted the injured to the hospital.
