LARKANA: Two close relatives were found dead in a private hostel they were operating near Chandka Bridge within the jurisdiction of the Civil Lines police station late on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Deedar Solangi, 38, a resident of Sujawal Junejo village of Qambar-Shahdadkot district; and Safeer Hussain Tunio, a resident of Murad Wahan Mohalla situated within the limits of the Dari police station.
Deedar’s brother, Talib Solangi, reported the mysterious death incident to the police stating that he had met the deceased on Thursday just before returning to his village. Since then, he added, he had constantly been trying to reach them by phone but without any response. He said he went back to the hostel on Friday evening and found both of them dead in a room.
The police shifted the bodies to the Chandka Medical College Hospital for a postmortem examination.
The initial medical reports suggested that there were no injury marks on their bodies.
The police were busy trying to ascertain the exact cause of their death. They said the victims had been running the hostel for a long time.
Meanwhile, the Larkana DIG has sought a report on the incident from the SSP concerned.
