HYDERABAD, April 17: Hyderabad DPO Ali Ahmed Junejo has suspended two head constables and an in-charge of Madadgar 15 for providing wrong information about an attack on a soft drink factory in the jurisdiction of Tando Yousuf police station.

Reports said that a caller, Iqbal phoned Ashfaq, a head constable of the Madadgar, had informed him that some miscreants had attacked a soft drink factory. Ashfaq forwarded the message to police force prompting the DPO to rush to the spot with a contingent of police.

En route to the said factory the DPO received another message from the SHO of the concerned police station that situation was under control because no attack had taken place. Actually the incident pertained to a dispute between truck and rickshaw drivers, the message added.

Hearing this, the DPO rushed back to Madadgar and suspended head constables Ashfaq and Arif and in-charge of Madadgar, Imran Rashid, for negligence of duty.
