The release date for Antoine Fuqua’s Michael, the upcoming Michael Jackson biopic, has been pushed back to October 3, 2025, from its original April 18, 2025, slot. Jaafar Jackson stars as the King of Pop, with Colman Domingo, Nia Long and Miles Teller in key roles.

Lionsgate will release the film in the US, while Universal will handle the overseas distribution, coinciding with the release of Roofman, starring Channing Tatum.

The film promises to offer an honest and riveting portrayal of Michael Jackson, exploring his triumphs, struggles and the intense media scrutiny he faced. It will also recreate his iconic performances, giving fans an inside look at the artist’s undeniable creative genius.

Muppet Vision 3D at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios is set to close, making way for a new Monsters Inc.-themed land, with construction starting next year.

Meanwhile, the Muppets, including Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy, will instead move to the park’s Sunset Boulevard area, where they’ll take over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, one of the most popular rides in the park. The ride currently has an Aerosmith theme.

In the newly reimagined ride, Muppets characters will mingle with music stars for a music festival. No exact closing dates for the attractions have been announced yet.
