UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has highlighted that the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees is an “irreplaceable lifeline for millions of Palestinians”.
“UNRWA has more schools, medical facilities, warehouses & staff than all other humanitarian agencies in the Occupied Palestinian Territory combined,” the UN chief said on X.
“No other entity has the capacity or reach to deliver lifesaving aid at the scale needed,” Guterres added.
