General Joseph Aoun, the commander of the Lebanese Armed Forces, has met with the UN’s Lebanon coordinator, Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, according to the official National News Agency, Al Jazeera reports.
Aoun and the envoy discussed regional and national developments after the Israeli incursion into Lebanon, and the efforts to enforce the ceasefire agreement, the agency said.
