RAWALPINDI: More than 750 suspects arrested during PTI’s protest were presented before the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi on Thursday.

The protesters were taken into custody from Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal districts.

The police from the three districts presented the suspects before ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah. The court addressed the cases registered at various police stations.

Later, the judge granted a five-day physical remand of 77 suspects arrested by the Sadiqabad police. A dozen suspects arrested by Waris Khan police were handed over on a two-day physical remand.

A four-day physical remand was issued for suspects arrested by the New Town police.

The judges ordered the police to discharge suspects under 18, while the rest were sent to jail on judicial remand.
