KHUZDAR: Three women were killed and three others injured as their car overturned on the Quetta-Karachi National Highway in Surab district on Monday night.

Levies officials said that a Quetta-bound car carrying six women from Panjgur overturned at Batgo Cross after one of its tyres burst.

The driver lost control over the car and it overturned, killing three women and injuring three others.

“Three women lost their lives on the spot while three others were injured,” the Levies official said, adding that bodies and injured were taken to Surab district hospital.

The women were identified as Ayesha, Farzana and Iqra.
