JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has no plans to join president-elect Donald Trump’s administration, a person familiar with the matter told CNN.
Dimon, among the most influential executives in Corporate America, has frequently been floated as a potential Treasury secretary under a Democratic or Republican president.
Yet the source told CNN that Dimon does not plan to serve in government.
Dimon thinks the best way to support the nation right now is by staying at JPMorgan Chase and supporting long-term economic growth, the source said.
