DADU: Shopkeepers and businessmen observed a strike in the city here on Tuesday by suspending their activities, and closing shopping and trade centers.

They took out a protest rally against the unscheduled loadshedding by Hesco in commercial and industries areas.

After marching on various roads, they staged a demonstration before the Dadu Press Club in the lead of Gul Hassan Panhwar, Mohamamd Amin Jamali, Ghulam Nabi Leghari, Ahmed Khan Zounr and Mumtaz Channa.

Speaking to the demonstrators on the occasion, Mr Panhwar said that it was 14 to 16 hours loadshedding out of the 24 hours in the commercial area, which had affected their business.

He said that on one hand unscheduled loadshedding was being observed frequently while on the other heavy and inflated detection bills were being sent to them.

Amin Jamali said that if the loadshedding was not be stopped in commercial and industries areas, they would continue their protest against the Hesco officials of Dadu.
