Bypoll papers

CHISHTIAN, April 8: Five candidates filed their nomination papers in the office of returning officer on Saturday for by-election to provincial assembly constituency PP-281. Those who filed their papers are: Kashif Mahmood, Wasim Haider Jaffery, Sajjad Ahmad Jathol, Malik Sohail Razzaq and Advocate Kashif.

The ruling PML has nominated Kashif Mahmood as its candidate.

The seat fell vacant due to the death of PML MPA Haji Tahir Mahmood. Kashif is the nephew of the late MPA.—APP
