SWABI: Four women were killed and three others were injured when a rickshaw collided with a tractor-trolley in Razaar tehsil here on Wednesday.

A Rescue 1122 official said that the collision occurred on the Shewa-Yar Hussain Road due to over-speeding. As a result, he said four women were killed on the spot and three other people, including the rickshaw driver, suffered wounds.

The official said that rescue personnel and an ambulance reached the spot and shifted the bodies and the injured persons to Yar Hussain Civil Hospital. Later, the injured were referred to Bacha Khan Teaching Hospital, Shahmansoor.

The deceased women were identified as Fatima Bibi, Sana Khan, Malaika Begum and Asia Khan. The injured included Sadia Khan, Amina Khan and rickshaw driver, Nahar Khan.
