LAHORE: Pakistan Ar­my’s team has been awarded the gold medal in Exercise Cambrian Pat­rol-2024, which concluded today in Wales, the United Kingdom.

Patrols from around the globe had to move tactically across inhospitable terrain, covering a distance of 60km within 48 hours while completing specialised tasks in a contested environment.

According to a press release, the event held from Oct 4 to 13 marked the 65th anni­v­ersary of the exercise.

This year, 128 teams from 42 countries participated in the exercise, and the Pakistan Army’s team demonstrated exceptional performance and secured the gold medal.
