KARACHI, April 5: Naib Nazim Nasreen Jalil has pledged to provide full support to the young students in establishment of small information technology industries. She was addressing at the second session of a seminar on “Young entrepreneurs in information technology.” The moot was organised by the Department of Computer Science and Umaer Basha Institute of Information Technology at Karachi University.

The naib nazim highlighted the city government’s initiative of introducing information technology and promoting the young entrepreneurs.

At the end, Prof (Dr) S.M. Aqil Burney gave the concluding remarks and Sadiq Ali Khan, Conference Secretary, presented the vote of thanks.

He said the seminar is our step in promoting entrepreneurship in IT supported by the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO and IT ministry. He also thanked the UNESCO for their efforts to the young entrepreneurs by establishing an e-Forum to enable interaction between the industry professionals and students. — APP
