German airline group Lufthansa said it had extended the suspension of flights to and from Israel’s Tel Aviv and Iranian capital Tehran up to and including October 14, AFP reports.
Lufthansa continued to “monitor the situation closely and will assess it further in the coming days”, the group said on its website as the escalation in the conflict between Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah threatened to destabilise the region.
Flights to Beirut remain suspended until October 26, Lufthansa added.
