Basketball: Army to defend title

KARACHI, March 31: Pakistan Army would start the defence of their crown when the National departmental basketball championship gets into action at the indoor court of National Sports Training and Coaching Centre (NSTCC) from Sunday.

Besides Army, other outfits vying for honours include PAF, Railways, Police, Wapda, POF Wah, Rangers, Habib Bank, KESC and Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Pakistan Amateur Basketball Federation (PABBF) ad hoc committee is organising the event in collaboration with Karachi City District Amateur Basketball Association (KCDABBA).

The draws of the event will be taken out at the venue on Saturday.
