Noa Argamani, an Israeli captive who was freed during an Israeli military raid in Gaza on June 8, told G7 diplomats that she thought every night in captivity would be her last, Al Jazeera reports.
“Every night I was falling asleep and thinking, this may be the last night of my life,” the 26-year-old told the senior diplomats from G7 countries in the Japanese capital.
“And until the moment I was [rescued] … I just did not believe that I’m still surviving,” she said.
Argamani went on to call for action to release the remaining captives, including her boyfriend, Avinatan Or.
“Avinatan, my boyfriend, is still there, and we need to bring them back before it’s going to be too late,” she said. “We don’t want to lose more people than we already lost.”
