Israeli forces have demolished two houses in the village of al-Jalameh, northeast of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, according to the Wafa news agency.

The head of the village council, Radwan Shaaban, told Wafa that Israeli forces stormed the village accompanied by three bulldozers and demolished the two houses.

One of the houses, measuring 170 square metres, belonged to Jamal Abu Farha, and the second, measuring 220sq metres, belonged to Hashem Mahmoud Abu Farha.

Shaaban said Abu Farha had just finished preparing his home to house his son, who is due to get married soon and was scheduled to move in.
