LAHORE: The rest coach of an empty goods train caught fire in Mughalpura yard on Tuesday, according to sources in the Pakistan Railway Police.

The coach, which had been parked in the yard along with several other goods wagons for many days, caught fire unexpectedly, prompting officials to rush to the scene.

“When someone saw the fire, they reported it to the nearby railway office. Eventually, the fire brigade arrived and extinguished the fire within 20 minutes,” an official told Dawn.
