ISLAMABAD: Physical test for executive staff recruitment in Islamabad police has been completed in the capital, Multan and Quetta, says a statement issued on Monday.

Since the capital police have quota for provinces, therefore, physical tests were arranged in the two cities to facilitate candidates of Balochistan and Punjab.

According to the statement, the physical tests were held on the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi.

“The physical tests were conducted for candidates at recruitment centres in Islamabad, Multan and Quetta,” a public relations officer said.

The physical testing phase was completed under the supervision of DG Safe City Malik Jameel Zafar, AIG Establishment Abdul Haq Umrani, SSP Security Zeeshan Haider, SSP Traffic Mohammad Sarfraz Virk, and other senior police officers at these centers.

IGP Islamabad also visited the physical test centre established at F-9 Park and Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad. He reviewed the arrangements and facilities provided to the candidates at the recruitment centers.

He emphasised that the recruitment process must uphold transparency and merit to safeguard the rights of all candidates, ensuring a 100pc merit-based completion of recruitment.

He directed the police officers to treat all aspiring candidates with respect, provide necessary facilities, and ensure transparency and merit.

To maintain transparency at the recruitment centres, all processes were monitored through Safe City cameras, smart cars, and video recordings.
