Israel keeps bombing Gaza schools. Why do people still shelter there?

UN-run schools serving as shelters for displaced Palestinians have been the target of attacks by Israeli forces over the last 10 days, Al Jazeera’s Simon Speakman Cordall reports.

The UN agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) says 120 of their educational institutions have been hit in air attacks since Israel began its war on Gaza.

Despite the difficult living conditions and the risk of bombardment, many Palestinians still seek out the relative safety of UN schools.
