There has been a notable surge in Israeli attacks on the very densely populated Nuseirat refugee camp which is hosting thousands of Palestinian families, Al Jazeera’s Tariq Abu Azzoum reports.

The Israeli army and fighter jets have targeted a residential house in Nuseirat refugee camp, where at least eight Palestinians have been reported killed.

The increase in attacks on evacuation centres run by the United Nations is dramatic, Azzoum reports. That had an absolutely devastating impact on the safety of those civilians, who were earlier told by the Israeli military to go there for their own safety.

At least six schools were targeted in the past 10 days, he adds.

Dozens of families have been left without shelter and dozens of Palestinians have been killed. Many injured people have arrived at Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir el-Balah, the report concludes.
