PESHAWAR: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar agreed to provide online e-service to the Khyber Medical University (KMU) via web portal for quick and efficient processing of admission management system for examinations, degree registration management and other services.

A delegation of Khyber Medical University (KMU) visited the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) to discuss modalities for collaboration in the field of IT, focusing on examination management, affiliation cases, migration management system and digital attendance management.

According to a press release, KMU delegation, comprising Prof Dr Muhammad Saleem Gandapur, Dr Syed Hafeez Ahmed and others, was briefed by the BISE Chairman Prof Nasrullah Khan on the potential benefits, suitability and usability of the board’s examination- related web application and its various modules to accommodate long-term usage, licensing arrangements, customisation options and essential training and support services to the KMU.

Prof Nasrullah said that their web application had demonstrated remarkable efficiency and transparency in digitally administering every single step of examination system.

The BISE officials were told that the KMU had embraced a paperless environment and committed to adopting innovative digital solutions. The KMU acknowledged the important role, played by BISE, in digitalising examination processes through its robust web application system that aligned closely with KMU’s goals of enhancing efficiency and transparency of its examination system. He appreciated the efforts of BISE’s IT team for improving its examination management system and various aligned processes through the best use of latest IT resources.
