Gaza’s Government Media Office says that 71,338 people have been infected with viral hepatitis due to displacement in various parts of the Gaza Strip since the beginning of Israeli military operations on October 7, Al Jazeera reports.
It reported that more than 1.7 million Palestinians have been infected with infectious diseases as a result of the harsh displacement conditions. It added that 350,000 people with chronic diseases in Gaza face great risks due to the Israeli army’s prevention of the entry of necessary medications.
