A young man was shot dead by Israeli forces in the town of Abwein, northwest of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health has said according to Al Jazeera.
The mayor of Abwein, Mahmoud Hamad, said that Ali Muwaffaq Musa Muzahim, 26, was killed after Israeli soldiers shot at him during a raid of the town.
Hamad said Muzahim was transferred to a health centre in the neighbouring town of Jaljalia, where he was pronounced dead.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society also reported that its crews transferred a critically injured person from Abwein.
